Soul & Thread is a passion project that I created for a seamstress company that specializes in restoring vintage clothing. Soul & Thread is devoted to keeping the fashions of the past beautiful and relevant. Their moto is “too beautiful to not restore”. I picked a color palette and font that paid homage to the historic, faded, and imperfect nature of vintage clothing. With vintage styles becoming “in” again, this company needed a rebrand that kept the old style, but with a modern twist that would appeal to those younger audiences that are now on the hunt for those old vintage finds.
